Shipping & Returns Policy
Shipping All shop items are shipped with Aramex with a flat rate shipping fee of R99. Items are usually shipped within 1-3 working days of confirmation of payment, although there may be delays if some supplies become more difficult to procure due to COVID-19. Items are delivered within 1-2 days of shipping, but may take up to 72hours from collection for outlying areas. Your parcel can be tracked on the Aramex website by inserting your waybill number. Please note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes as a signature from the receiver is required.
Additional charges may be required for special delivery areas such as mines, power stations, plots/farms, military bases, game lodges, ports/harbours, embassies and consulates. We will get in touch prior to delivery for the arrangement of additional shipping costs in the rare case that these apply.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. Sugarbird Embroidery is currently only shipping domestically within South Africa.
Returns / Exchanges
We permit returns/exchanges when the product delivered to you is damaged or defective, or if the incorrect product has been delivered to you.
If you are not satisfied with the condition of your purchased items, please get in touch within thirty (30) days of delivery of the product to let us know about the issue via an email sent to info@sugarbirdembroidery.co.za. If more than thirty (30) days have passed since you purchased the item, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Please make sure that the returned product is unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. It can be sent to our offices at the following address: 4 Nichol Street, Hermanus, Western Cape. 7200.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss of value. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the product. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Should the product in our reasonable discretion not be suited to be returned, we shall not be obliged to accept the return. If your refund is approved, we will replace or exchange the damaged product.
Unfortunately, PDF patterns and Gift Cards are excluded from the above policy and cannot be returned or exchanged.
